Massage Workshops in Weston Super Mare

I offer workshops for couples to learn basic massage, stretching for beginners and core stability for beginners. Workshops integrate the knowledge I have gained from massage, myofascial release, personal training and personal coaching.

Couples or Friends Massage Workshop   £85

Over a fun two and a half hour workshop in my studio in Weston Super Mare learn some key skills and techniques to be able to massage the head, neck and shoulders. We’ll look at:

  • Key muscle groups
  • The art of touch
  • Using hands and forearms to massage
  • How to give massage to alleviate headaches, upper back pain and relieve tension around the neck and shoulders.

Both of you will have time to give and receive massage, as well as ask questions, have a cup of tea and a biscuit.

Stretching for Beginners    £20

This workshop is designed to explain how stretching can improve your mobility, flexibility, muscle tensions and decrease discomfort. Over a fun, two hour workshop I’ll take you through your main muscle groups and the stretches that target those muscles. I will integrate coaching into the workshop so you can work out how to fit stretching into your daily routine.

There will be a maximum of six people in the workshop so there is lots of personal attention and time to ask questions.

You will leave with:

  • Increased awareness about your muscles and body
  • A workbook with images describing the stretches
  • A commitment to implement the stretches that work for you

Core Stability for Beginners   £20

Your abdominal muscles are not your only core muscles! Over a two hour workshop we’ll look at the rest of the core muscles and how strengthening them improves the stability of your pelvis. When your core muscles are strong you will experience less discomfort, improved mobility, better balance and strength. A strong core also reduces the risk of injury in the longer term. The exercises I take you through are gentle and aimed at beginners.  I will integrate coaching into the workshop so you can work out how to integrate core work into your daily routine.

There will be a maximum of six people in the workshop there is lots of personal attention and time to ask questions.

You will leave with:

  • Increased awareness about your core muscles and what they do
  • A workbook with images describing the exercises
  • A commitment to implement the exercises that work for you
